New Caledonia Star Rewards Program
Stars Accrual:
From the date of registration as a New Caledonia Specialist, Stars can be earned for New Caledonia-related learning or bookings.
Learning options – 1 Star each
- Registration and completion of questionnaire
- Attendance at a New Caledonia famil
- Attendance at a New Caledonia Roadshow
- Attendance at a Treasures of the Pacific Seminar
- Completion of an online learning module via www.newcaledonia.com.au
Bookings - 2 Stars each
- Definition of a Booking: A booking is defined as a combined land and air sale for a minimum of 2 pax. One booking counts as two or more passengers booked under one PNR for travel on the same date. Bookings will be confirmed with the wholesaler/airline.

The higher the membership, the more rewards and bonuses will be available.
As well as supporting our Specialist Agents by providing product training and support, we will also offer personal incentives for attaining higher Star Status.
Terms and Conditions:
There is a 12 month qualification period after registration during which some activity should be carried out (learning or booking). If there is no activity in these 12 months, the membership will be cancelled.
The date of registration will become the membership anniversary date. To maintain membership, a Specialist must undertake a learning activity or make a booking every year. As long as the membership is active, Stars will accumulate.
Stars accrued for learning-related activity will expire 12 months from the date of completion of the learning-activity. In the case of an educational visit, points will expire 12 months from the last date of the visit..
Stars accrued for bookings will be valid for 12 months from the BOOKING date. This is irrespective of when the booking is registered with New Caledonia Tourism.
Specialists registered before 1st August 2008: all Stars allocated for bookings made and registered prior to 1st August 2008 will remain valid until 1st August 2009. After this date, these booking Stars will expire. Any Stars accrued for bookings made after this date will be valid for 12 months and will expire on the 1st day of the 13th month after the booking date.
Specialists registering after 1st August 2008: Stars will Start to accumulate for bookings or learning activity carried out from the date of registration. Stars will not be allocated for any learning activity, (attendance at roadshows, treasures seminars etc) or bookings made prior to the date of registration.
It is the responsibility of the Specialist to register their bookings on www.newcaledonia.com.au and provide us with satisfactory details for Stars to be credited. Two Stars will be credited to your membership as soon as your booking is registered. The booking will then be verified with the relevant wholesaler or airline. If the booking is cancelled or we are unable to verify it, those points will be deducted from your account. These booking Stars will expire 12 months after the booking date, irrespective of when the booking is registered with us.
Star status is based on current Star balance. When Stars expire, status may change. New bookings will need to be made or learning activity completed in order to maintain status level.
If there is no activity on the membership for a period of 1 year, all Stars and related benefits will expire and the membership will be cancelled.
A Specialist will not advance to Gamma Star level or above unless they make at least one booking every year. In order to maintain status level or to move up beyond Gamma Star level, the Specialist must continue to make bookings on a regular basis.
Stars cannot be combined within an agency nor can they be transferred to another consultant.
A consultant can carry over their Stars balance if they move agency as long as they notify New Caledonia Tourism of their new details.

Free Fuel for a Year Terms and Conditions:
Prize will be offered to the first FIVE New Caledonia Specialist Agents to reach Alpha status by November 2009. Winning Agents must be a retail travel consultant working within a retail travel agency. Winner will be able to choose from a fuel or groceries gift card to the value of $2,600 which equates to $50 per week for a year. Prize may not be split between agents and points may not be combined within an agency.
The five winners will be announced as and when they reach Alpha Status by email from New Caledonia Tourism, on our web site and in our monthly newsletter. The prize will be awarded on the date of the last departure of the qualifying bookings.
All bookings will be verified with the relevant wholesaler. It is a condition of membership of the Star Rewards program that a Specialist Agent notifies New Caledonia Tourism of any changes to or cancellation of any bookings registered on our web site.
